Songwriter/frontman David Kelling's move from San Francisco to Los Angeles influenced the album's lyrics, creating a seamless interplay of physical and emotional movement. Kelling says he crafted each song's unique sound, resulting in a constantly evolving sonic palette. The band includes guitarists John Jr and Nick Bruder, bassist Shane Plitt, and drummer Ross Traver.
