Bay Dream, a CD by Culture Abuse, is a musical gem produced, engineered, and mixed by Carlos de la Garza of Paramore and Jimmy Eat World fame. After their 2016 debut Peach, this album takes the band's melody - rich garage punk to new heights. It draws inspiration from diverse artists like Sly and the Family Stone, Paul Simon, and reggae legend Billy Boyo. Songwriter/frontman David Kelling's move from San Francisco to Los Angeles influenced the album's lyrics, creating a seamless interplay of physical and emotional movement. Kelling says he crafted each song's unique sound, resulting in a constantly evolving sonic palette. The band includes guitarists John Jr and Nick Bruder, bassist Shane Plitt, and drummer Ross Traver. Tracklist: 1. Bay Dream 2. Rats In The Walls 3. Dip 4. Bee Kind To The Bugs 5. S'Why 6. California Speedball 7. Calm E 8. Dave's Not Here (I Got The Stuff Man) 9. Dozy 10. Bluebird On My Shoulder
