Fuming Mouth unleashes their first full - length album, The Grand Descent. Recorded at the GRAMMY® - award winning Godcity Studio by Kurt Ballou of Converge, it features the works of renowned bands like Every Time I Die, Nails, and High on Fire. This album combines a 90’s Earache Records vibe with a modern twist. Mark Whelan and Cayle Sain craft huge guitar walls and earth - shattering drums respectively, with occasional moments of melody and clean singing. Polish artist Mariusz Lewandowski, known for his work with Bell Witch and Psycroptic, painted the album cover. The Grand Descent dives into death - metal sound and takes it a step further. The LP comes in a gatefold jacket and a printed inner sleeve, while the CD is in a jewel case with a 16 - page inset booklet.
